Apaches Dominate Dragons with 4-1 Victory, Extend Win Streak

Athens, TX- Apaches sought to continue their win streak by taking on a conference opponent and was able to dominate in the process. The Apaches were able to outscore the Dragons 4-1 in their latest match. The team started out strong with back-to-back goals in the first 4 minutes of play.

The first goal scored in the second minute by Hagan Cupido assisted by Marc Perkuhn. Cupido continued his streak by scoring another goal in the fourth minute this time assisted by Carlo Romberg. If this excitement wasn't enough the duo followed it up with another goal and assist in the ninth minute of play. In case you are worried you read that incorrectly. Cupido did in fact score three goals within the first 10 minutes of play. 

The game continued to stay intense with a total of 26 shots on goal by the Apaches and only six by the Dragons. However, Dragon Jace Starling was able to back it past Apache goalie, Joe Pollard during the 55' minute of the game. Starling was assisted by Santiago Ruix Cifuen.

Even with the Dragons scoring the Apaches had the final word with a late goal by Noe Robles assisted by Steven Ngunga.
