Tyler, TX- In a thrilling, back-and-forth contest, the men's basketball team came up just one point short against the #2 ranked Trinity Valley Community College, losing 65-64.

The game was a nail-biter, with the Apaches battling back from a 31-29 halftime deficit to outscore Trinity Valley 35-34 in the second half. Despite the narrow loss, TJC showed tremendous resilience and skill, proving they can compete at a high level against one of the nation's top-ranked teams.

Standout Performances:

Zander Frazier added 13 points and 5 rebounds, hitting 3-of-6 from three-point range. Frazier's shooting kept the Apaches in the hunt, as he nailed timely three-pointers to keep the game close and stretch the defense.

Caden Bell contributed 8 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist, while Josiah Hill added 5 points and 8 rebounds. Hill's work on the glass was especially important, giving TJC valuable second-chance opportunities in a tightly contested matchup.
