Apaches Fall to Blinn, but Win Multiple Honors.

BRENHAM, Texas -- The Tyler Junior College Volleyball team's season came to an end Saturday afternoon as the Apaches fell to Blinn College in four sets (26–28, 25–22, 22–25, 19–25) in the semifinals of the Region XIV Tournament. 

TJC battled from the first whistle, taking the Buccaneers to extra points in the opening set and earning a hard-fought win in the second. However, Blinn's offensive consistency proved decisive in the later frames, as the Buccaneers closed out the match to advance to the finals.

Rendi Seahorn led the Apaches with 14 kills and 13 digs, while Natalia Roszewska added 12 kills and a pair of aces. Setter Lauren Pyle orchestrated the offense with 33 assists, 14 digs, and two service aces. Johanne Hoinville contributed three kills and a strong defensive effort with a team-high seven blocks.

Defensively, Dani Brey anchored the back row with 22 digs, while Sofia Alcoforado was efficient at the net, posting six kills on a .462 hitting percentage.
