ATHENS, Texas – Tyler Junior College women's soccer battled to a 1–1 draw Friday night against Trinity Valley Community College after Brianna Garcia scored a late equalizer to salvage a point on the road.

After a scoreless first half, Trinity Valley broke through in the 74th minute when Meriem Mihoubi found the back of the net off a setup from Nancy Jacobo. The Apaches kept up the pressure and were rewarded in the 84th minute, as Garcia buried the unassisted equalizer to level the match.
