The TJC softball team faced off against Trinity Valley Community College in a two-game series, splitting the outcomes with a tough 4-2 loss in the first game but bouncing back impressively with a 10-3 victory in the second.

Game 1: Apaches Fall Short in Tight Contest

The first game of the series proved to be a challenging one for the Apaches, as they lost 4-2. Despite getting some runners on base and showing promise offensively, TJC couldn't capitalize when it mattered most.

Standout Players:

• Daniela Gutierrez was a bright spot for the Apaches, hitting a home run and driving in both RBIs for her team.
• Kearston Gooch started in the circle and threw 4.1 innings, allowing 4 runs on 5 hits while striking out 7. Although she pitched well at times, she took the loss.
• Jaycee Bullard provided a strong relief outing, tossing 1.2 scoreless innings with just 1 hit and 1 walk allowed.
