Men's Tennis Wrap-Up: Apaches Secure Back-to-Back National Title and 70th Championship

The Apaches closed out a remarkable season by clinching back-to-back National Tournament victories, marking the 70th national championship in the history of Apache Athletics. Traveling to Florence, South Carolina, the team delivered a dominant performance on the national stage.

Daniel Mauricio Marincas emerged as a standout, earning First-Team All-American honors in the #5 singles flight. He also secured the prestigious title in doubles alongside his partner Alexander Morris, with the duo claiming First-Team All-American status in the #3 doubles flight.

The Apaches sealed the championship with impressive performances across the board. Daniel Borisov and Alex Despoja triumphed in their doubles flight, as did Doni Gashi and Daniel Jankoski, resulting in an Apache doubles sweep. In total, the team earned an outstanding seven First-Team All-American honors.

It was a season to remember, not only for the players but also for Interim Head Coach Micah Avance, who led the team to glory in his first year at the helm.
