The #17 Coastal Bend Cougars and the #2 Tyler Junior College Apaches played to a 0-0 tie on Friday afternoon at Hartley Field in Tyler. It was the second consecutive 0-0 tie for the Apaches to open the 2024 season. They tied Ranger College last Saturday at Hartley Field. The Cougars are now 1-1-1 on the season, after a 2-1 win over Hill College and a 4-0 loss to Eastern Florida State College last weekend in Brenham, Texas. The Apaches are 0-0-2 with their next contest on Saturday against Texas Southmost College at 1:00 pm on the campus of Tyler Junior College.
