Coach Ono Tafisi came to TJC in 2022. Coach Tafisi began his coaching career at Snow College and was the Runningback coach and assistant to the Offensive line coach. During his tenture at Snow College, Coach Tafisi was able to produce two 2^nd Team All-American Runningbacks. In Spring 2021, Snow College's offense was the #1 scoring offense in JUCO. They rushed for 206.3 YPG and 30 touchdowns. They finished the season as National Runner-ups. In the fall of 2021 season, they were the #1 scoring offense in JUCO and rushed for 250.8 YPG and 33 touchdowns. 

In the fall of 2022, Coach Tafisi transitioned to the Defensive side of the ball and was able to produce two Honorable Mentions on the Defensive Line at his first year at TJC.

 Coach Ono Tafisi played his college ball at Snow College and Adams State University on Offensive Line. He is the youngest out of seven children. Has an older brother who is a Strength and Conditioning coach in the college ranks.
