CISCO, Texas — The Tyler Junior College Football team defeated Cisco College 37–33 on Saturday, October 18.
Quarterback Tre Guerra completed 24 of 39 passes for 260 yards. Elijah Baesa led all receivers with seven catches for 143 yards. Amari Henry added three receptions for 52 yards, and James Lee had three for 26.
On the ground, Ashton Haynes rushed for 86 yards on eight carries, and James Lee carried 20 times for 84 yards.
Tyler JC finished with 435 yards of total offense on 72 plays, including 175 rushing yards and 260 passing yards. Cisco totaled 470 yards on 81 plays. Tyler converted 10 of 20 third downs, while Cisco went 7 of 19.
Cisco led 24–21 at halftime before Tyler outscored the Wranglers 16–9 in the second half.
