Apache Baseball Heads to Brenham For Regional Playoffs

BRENHAM, Texas -- The road to the NJCAA Division I Baseball World Series begins this week as the NJCAA Region 14 North and South Regional Tournaments get underway Thursday at sites across Texas.

The Region 14 South Regional Tournament will be hosted by Blinn College at Leroy Dreyer Field in Brenham.

Tournaments are scheduled for May 7-10 and will feature four teams in double-elimination format with berths in the Region 14 Super Regional on the line.

All games from both regional tournaments will be streamed free by TSBN Sports .

In the South Regional Tournament, nationally ranked Blinn College will host the event at Leroy Dreyer Field after winning the Region 14 South regular-season title. Opening-round games are Thursday and feature the same double-elimination format, with games continuing Friday and Saturday and an if-necessary championship game Sunday.

According to Blinn Athletics, admission for the South Regional is $10 for adults and $5 for seniors, while children 12 and younger and college students with student ID receive free admission.
