The baseball contest between TJC and Richland which was rained out on 2/3/12 will now be played this Sunday at Richland.  Game time is 12 noon.

By rallying to tie the game in the seventh inning and taking the lead in the eighth, Tyler Junior College earned a 5-3 win over Texarkana College on Monday at Mike Carter Field.

Due to field availability,  Saturday's doubleheader vs. Dallas Christian has been moved from Dallas to a home game at Mike Carter Field.  The first pitch will remain at 12 noon. Game one will be 7 innings, and game two will be a full nine.   

The April home date vs Dallas Christian will remain in Tyler.

Three sophomore members of the Tyler Junior College baseball team were selected to play in the 2011 Fuddruckers Junior College All-Star Weekend held at Baylor University in Waco, TX on September 30th and October 1st.  This annual event is put on by the Texas-New Mexico Baseball Coaches Association. Pitchers Payton Smith (Whitehouse, TX), Jackie Black (Amarillo, TX), and catcher Trevor Clifton (Cypress, TX) represented the Apaches in this prestigious event.
