The Tyler Junior College soccer program, which produced two national champions last season, has been rewarded with several individual honors.
The men's team has three first-team All-Americans while the women's team has one.

The TJC Men's and Women's Soccer Teams were well represented on the NJCAA All-American lists, as four Apaches were named to the squads, including three First Team selections. Sophomore Cara Newton was named to the first team on the women's side, while Sophomores Shaunovan Wilson and Kenny Manna were first team selections on the men's side. Sophomore Juan Robles was named to the second team.

Tyler Junior College men's soccer coach Steve Clements said if he wanted to wear his national championship ring from 2000, he would first have to remove an inch of dust off the jewel. After Sunday, he doesn't have to worry about cleaning that piece of jewelry at all.

The Tyler Junior College Men's and Women's Soccer teams made history today, with both teams capturing National Titles on the same day!!!! The TJC women defeated Johnson County 3-0, while the men's team defeated Georgia Perimeter College 5-3 in a shootout after going scoreless in regulation and two overtimes.
