SAN ANTONIO -- The Tyler Junior College Apaches defeated Region XIV rival Laredo, 5-4, Saturday in a tennis dual match.
The Apaches also beat Incarnate Word, 6-3.
The TJC women won both duals as well, 8-1 over Incarnate Word and 9-0 over Laredo.

Dash Connell, a former All-American tennis player for TJC, has been hired as the red shirt tennis coach for TJC beginning July 1st. He is coming back to TJC after serving on the Willow Fork Tennis Professional staff in Katy, Texas.
