The Tyler Junior College baseball team started well but finished poorly in a 14-7 loss to Grayson County College on a cold Monday at Mike Carter Field.
Grayson (7-4), a Division I junior college program from Region V, broke open a tight game with six runs in the top of the ninth off six hits and three errors. The Division III Apaches (11-6) had a 6-2 lead after four innings, and Grayson was on top 8-7 after eight.

Avenging their only two losses of the season, the Tyler Junior College Apaches swept Bossier Parish Community College, 4-3 and 13-3, Monday in a baseball doubleheader at Mike Carter Field.
The Apaches (11-2) stretched their winning streak to 11 games.

Due to 6-8 inches of snow at Mike Carter Field, Saturday's double header vs Lon Morris College has been rescheduled to Sunday (February 14th). Game 1 (7-innings) will start at 2:00pm and Game 2 (9-innings) will start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game 1.
