TJC's Jaqueline Santos was named an NJCAA First Team All-American today by the national office.  The freshman from Sao Paulo, Brazil helped lead the Lady Apaches to a 24-6 record this season.  The squad was ranked as high as 3 in the country at one point this season, the highest ranking ever in the program's history.  She becomes the 1st Lady Apache named to the 1st team since Leticia Kuhn in 2007. 
Mon, Nov 7, 2011 - [Volleyball]
TJC volleyball players Ivana Bulajic, Anuhea Keanini, and Jacqueline Santos were named First Team All Region, the conference announced today.  Additionally, Jacqueline Santos was named Newcomer of the Year.  Haydn Beatty and Bredgit Hanafin were named Honorable Mention All Region. 
Sun, Oct 30, 2011 - [Volleyball]
The TJC volleyball team will head to Brenham this weekend to play in the District K tournament.  The winner advances to the NJCAA National Tournament.  TJC will be seeded #2 and play #3 Panola Friday night at 7pm.  #1 Blinn plays #4 Paris in the other half of the bracket. The two semifinal winners will play Saturday at 2pm.

The Tyler Junior College volleyball team celebrated Sophomore Day with a 3-0 non-conference win over Temple (17-14) on Saturday at Wagstaff Gymnasium. The scores were 25-19, 25-11, 25-19.

The Apache Ladies closed out their Region XIV home schedule Thursday with a 25-8, 25-18, 25-17 victory over Lon Morris at Wagstaff Gymnasium.
