            <title>[Men's Tennis] Men's Tennis Caps off Tourney With 6 Individual Championships</title>

            <description>&lt;p&gt;TJC, who clinched the National Title with their play yesterday, added 6 individual titles to their collection today, falling in only one match today. &amp;nbsp;TJC ended up with 47 points, finishing ahead of ASA (35.5) and host Collin College (34). &amp;nbsp;TJC won titles at Flights 1,2,3, and 4 singles and at Flights 2 and 3 doubles. &amp;nbsp;They also won the consolation final at Flight 1 doubles. &amp;nbsp;Complete results can be found at www.collin.edu/athletics/national_tourn/index.html&lt;/p&gt;</description>

            <title>[Women's Golf] Women's Golf Finishes Fifth at National Championships</title>

            <description>&lt;p&gt;The TJC women finished strong at the NJCAA National Championships, shooting their best round of the tournament by 12 shots. &amp;nbsp;Their fourth round score of 315 gave them a final tally of 1306. &amp;nbsp;Daytona State College won the National Title, shooting a four day total of 1211. &amp;nbsp;REdlands Community College finished 2nd, just 11 shots back. &amp;nbsp;TJC Maraea Durie played her best on the last day, shooting a 74. &amp;nbsp;She also led the team with a four day total of 320. &amp;nbsp;Other scores were:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Lisa Frauenberger 328&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Katharine Bunting 330&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Allyson Harris &amp;nbsp;333&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Alexandria Martinez &amp;nbsp;347&lt;/p&gt;</description>

            <title>[Men's Tennis] Men's Tennis Clinches National Title</title>

            <description>&lt;p&gt;On the strength of strong singles play and not losing a match in doubles, the TJC men&amp;#39;s tennis team clinched the team title with a day to spare. &amp;nbsp;They won 5 out of their 6 singles matches, and then advanced to the main draw doubles final in flights two and three and to the consolation championship in flight one doubles. &amp;nbsp;After today&amp;#39;s play, TJC had tallied 40.5 points, with ASA (NY) in 2nd with 34.5 and host Collin College in 3rd with 33. &amp;nbsp;ASA has a chance to win 3.5 total points tomorrow, making the 6 point TJC insurmountable. &amp;nbsp;Finals in all flights will be tomorrow beginning at 8am. &amp;nbsp;It is TJC&amp;#39;s 3rd national title of the year, following men&amp;#39;s soccer and women&amp;#39;s tennis. &amp;nbsp;It is the school&amp;#39;s 49th title in their history.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

            <title>[Women's Golf] Women's Golf in Fifth Headed to Final Round at Nationals</title>

            <description>&lt;p&gt;Lisa Frauenberger shot a 79 on Day 3 to lead the Lady Apaches to a three day total of 991.&amp;nbsp; They are currently tied with Western Texas for fifth, and trail fourth place McLennan.&amp;nbsp; Dayton State College leads the tourney by 8 shots over Redlands Community College.&amp;nbsp; Maraea Durie leads the way for TJC after three days of play, shooting a total of 246.&amp;nbsp; Allyson Harris is next with a 248, Frauenberger with 249, Katharine Bunting with 253, and Alexandria Martinez at 260.&amp;nbsp; Tyler is paired in a threesome with McLennan and Western Texas in today&amp;#39;s final round.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

The Apaches won the series 2-0 as they took Game 1, 5-4, in 12 innings Friday night.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

            <title>[Women's Tennis] Women's Tennis Captures Fourth Straight Title</title>

            <description>&lt;p&gt;TUCSON, Ariz. &amp;ndash; Tyler Junior College (Texas) claimed their fourth straight NJCAA Division I Women&amp;#39;s Tennis national championship Thursday at the Jim Reffkin Tennis Center. Finishing with a total of 46 points, the Apaches clinched their 17th title in program history by narrowly edging out ASA College (N.Y.) who finished with 42.5 points.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The ASA Avengers joined Georgia Perimeter College in claiming two singles championships, while Tyler and Florida State-Jacksonville each earned one. It was Florida State-Jacksonville sophomore Esther Zuniga taking the No. 1 singles crown with a 0-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory over Tyler freshman Fausthyara Pietersz. In No. 2 singles, Georgia Perimeter freshman Fatyha Berjan earned a 6-2, 6-2 win over Tyler sophomore Nelo Phiri. Georgia Perimeter sophomore Ida Amen defeated Tyler sophomore Alejandra Enderica 7-6, 6-2 in No. 3 singles.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
