Traveling to TJC from the East

1) Travel to Tyler on Interstate 20 west. (See below for travel from Kilgore or Henderson)

2) The first Tyler exit off I-20 is U.S. 271. You will turn to your south after taking this exit.

3) Travel on U.S. 271 south about 10 miles, The University of Texas Health Center on your right. About three miles past UT Health Center you will come to a flashing yellow light. Turn left at this light, onto Loop 323.

4) You will pass over railroad tracks and pass through four traffic signals.

5) At your fifth traffic signal, turn to your right at U.S. 64, which is also Fifth Street.

6) Take Fifth Street west, passing one traffic light. After you pass the first light, get into the right lane. At the second light (approximately 1.5 miles from the U.S. 64 & Loop 323 intersection) turn right.  You will see Pat Hartley Field as well as the parking lots on your right hand side.  Every parking lot (except for the Tyler Museum of Art) will be available.  Wagstaff Gymnasium is located on Apache Pass across from the Tyler Museum of Art.

If traveling to Tyler from the Henderson, Texas area, drive west on U.S. 64. Within the Tyler city limits, U.S. 64 is also known as East Fifth Street. Once you reach Loop 323 at its intersection with U.S. 64, you may follow step 6 above.

If traveling to Tyler from the Kilgore, Texas area, drive west on Texas Highway 31. At the TH 31 intersection with Loop 323, turn left and drive south-southwest. After passing one traffic light, maneuver to your right-hand lane. Turn right at the second traffic light, which is East Fifth Street. Follow step 6 above.
