This is Eddy McGuire's 9th year as head trainer for intercollegiate athletics. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University, and his Master of Science in Athletic Training from Stephen F. Austin State University. He was previously the head athletic trainer at A&M Consolidated High School.  He and his wife, Shelley, have two children:  Morgan (13), and Mason (10).

 

Wade Johnson - Assistant Athletic Trainer

This is Wade Johnson's 1st year as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for intercollegiate athletics. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training & Sports Medicine from Quinnipiac University in 2010.  He is currently working towards his Masters of Science in Sport Psychology at California University of Pennsylvania.  He was previously a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer here at Tyler Junior College during the 2010-2011 school year.

Courtney is beginning her 2nd year as a Graduate Assistant Student Athletic Trainer at TJC.  In 2009, Courtney completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology & Athletic Training from the East Texas Baptist University.  She is currently working towards her Masters of Sports Science in Sports Medicine at the United State Sports Academy.

       

 

 

 

Devan Lemrick - Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer

Devan joined the TJC Athletic Training team during the Summer of 2011.  She completed her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Harding University in 2010.  She will begin working towards her Masters of Art in Counseling at the University of Texas at Tyler in Spring of 2012.
