This is Eddy McGuires’s fourth year as head trainer for intercollegiate athletics. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University, and his Master of Science in Athletic Training from Stephen F. Austin State University. He was previously the head athletic trainer at A&M Consolidated High School. He and his wife, Shelley, have three children, Logan (17), Morgan (9), and Mason (6).

This is Contanya's second year at TJC. She started as a Graduate Assistant, and was named Assistant Athletic Trainer in February 2008. In the Spring of 2005, Contanya completed her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Tulsa. She is also a 2002 Alumni of Tyler Junior College. She is currently attending graduate classes at the University of Texas at Tyler, working towards her Masters of Education in Health and Kinesiology.

Lindsey is beginning her second year as a Graduate Assistant Student Athletic Trainer at TJC. In the Spring of 2006, Lindsey completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training and Exercise Science from Missouri Valley College. She is currently working towards her Masters of Education in Health and Kinesiology at the University of Texas at Tyler.
