Eddy McGuire - Head Athletic Trainer MED, ATC, LAT, RMT 903.510.2323 emcg@tjc.edu
This is Eddy McGuire's 10th year as head trainer for intercollegiate athletics. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University, and his Master of Science in Athletic Training from Stephen F. Austin State University. He was previously the head athletic trainer at A&M Consolidated High School. He and his wife, Shelley, have two children: Morgan (14), and Mason (11).
Jeff Derrick - Assistant Athletic Trainer
This is Jeff Derrick's 1st year as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for intercollegiate athletics. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and his Masters of Education in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Mary hardin-Baylor in 2012. He was previously a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor from 2010-2012. Jeff is married to his wife Aleyna of three years.
Maren Fletcher - Graduate Assistant Student Athletic Trainer

Maren is beginning her first year as a graduate assistant trainer with TJC. She graduated from Whitworth University in Spokane, WA in 2007 with a B.A. in Health, Fitness, and PE. She also has a B.S. from Colorado State - Pueblo in Athletic Training in 2012. She is currently working on her Masters in Health and Kinesiology at UT-Tyler.
Danny Barringer - Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer

This is Danny's first year as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with TJC. He graduated from TJC in 2007 with an Associate's Degree in Athletic Training. He then continued his education at The University of Texas-Austin, earning his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2010. He will begin working on his Master degree in the fall of 2013.
