BULLARD -- Tyler Junior College swept its own Intercollegiate Golf Tournament on Tuesday at Eagle's Bluff Country Club.
The Apaches won the 10-team men's event by five shots over Northwood, 614-619, while the Apache Ladies captured the five-team women's division over Northwood, 685-702.
Northwood is a four-year NAIA university located in Cedar Hill.
On a day with generally lower scores in the second round, the TJC Black men's team shot a tournament-best 304 behind a trio of 75s by James Glenn, Stefan Labuscagne and Chris George. Glenn and Nate Anderson led the Apaches with a 153 total.
Sebastian Starud and Vincent Anagnos paced the TJC Gold (fourth place) at 155. Anagnos fired a 74.
Jacki Marshall sparked the Apache Ladies with a tournament-best 153 in the women's division. She shot 76-77.
