BAYTOWN -- The Apaches shot 62 percent from the field and Malcolm Moore scored 22 points as Tyler Junior College edged Lee College 72-68 at the Lee College Sports Complex on Saturday.
The Apaches (12-5, 5-4 in Region XIV) dominated inside with 38 points in the paint to 24 for the Rebels (10-10, 4-5).
Nick James scored 17 to pace Lee, which connected on 42 percent of its shots.
TJC plays host to Lamar State-Port Arthur at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
