For immediate release:
The Metro Athletic Conference selected the All MAC baseball team for 2009 and four TJC Apaches were selected as FIRST TEAM ALL MAC. First teamers for the Apaches were Freshman RHP Drew Johnson, Freshman RHP Payton Parsons, Sophomore 1B Jordon Vierra, Freshman 3B Jeff Pine .

Vierra was a close runner up for MAC MVP for 2009, despite missing nearly a month due to a broken leg.
Eight other TJC players were Honorable mention ALL MAC:
Soph LHP Brandyn Greer, SS: Ryan Willnow, 2B: Wes Smith, C: Keagon Johnson, OF: Quinton Haynes, Matt Johnson, Colby Welsh, DH: Tyler Pirtle.
The Apaches play in the NJCAA District C tourney this weekend in McKinney, TX. Also particpating are #1 Richland College, #9 North Arkansas and MAC 3rd place winner, Eastfield.
