"... We threw nine different pitchers in all 9 innings and all showed bright spots today...five of the nine gave up no runs and I was encouraged by the pitching side of things today....."
"... offensively, we never could muster more than a hit here and a hit there...we manufactured a few runs but couldn't sustain a rally in any one inning today...we also had 16 fly ball outs and on a day when the wind was blowing straight in from center field, that kills you ..."

"... Texarkana is another solid NJCAA Division I opponent that we played tough, but just didn't muster enough offense to win...with the strong wind blowing in from center, hitting 16 fly ball outs really hurt us today ..."
"...we have our final home MAC series this weekend against Eastfield and it'll be important for us to play well...I thought today was a good step for many of our guys, despite coming up short in the win column...we're still in 1st place in the MAC and we'll do our best to keep that position this weekend...we hope a lot of people will be able to come out and support us in our final home MAC series of the year..."
