Former Apache
Randall Hampton, who scored over 140 points and had 30 3-pointers in only 1 season at TJC (
NJCAA Stats), came back to visit with the current Apache Men's Basketball squad during a practice session earlier this week. As a bonus and surprise for many current Apaches, Hampton was accompanied by longtime childhood friend Derrick Rose who was the 2008 #1 overall draft pick by the Chicago Bulls.

"Personally and professionally it is very special for a former player to come back to visit and give back to the team. Just to see Randall in the gym was great but to see the pride in his eyes to be able to share a TJC moment with his childhood friend Derrick Rose was even better. It was a great moment for him and for the team." - TJC Men's Basketball Head Coach Mike Marquis
