BRENHAM -- It will be just like old times today in Region XIV basketball as both Tyler Junior College teams will be together for a road doubleheader.
The TJC-Blinn women's game will tip off at 5:30 p.m., followed by the Apaches and Bucs at 7:30 p.m.
The TJC teams will go their separate ways on Saturday with the men playing at Trinity Valley and the Apache Ladies entertaining Lon Morris.
The TJC men (17-3, 8-3), who are tied for first in the North Zone, are continuing their swing through the South with the game against Blinn (16-6, 6-5).
The Apaches' 33-game home winning streak was halted last Saturday as Jacksonville registered an impressive 87-80 victory.
Blinn has won two games in a row against Kilgore and Bossier Parish.
In women's action, TJC (7-16, 2-9) and Blinn (12-11, 6-5) will be meeting for the second time this season.
The Lady Bucs won in Tyler, 86-77, on Jan. 24.
The Apache Ladies have seven games left to try to get into the top eight in the conference. They are two games out in the win column behind eighth-place Paris (4-8), which already owns a victory over TJC.
