The Apaches staged a furious rally to tie the score from 11 points down, but fell to defending National Champion Paris 72-66.
 
After being tied 32-32 at halftime, Paris led by double-digits with four minutes to go. Tyler (8-1, 3-1) came back to tie the score at 66, but Paris finished the game with six straight points to win 72-66.
 
Tyler was led by Ifeanyi Kogg (Fresh/Tyler Lee) with 14 points. Trey Gilder (Soph/Desoto) added 12, and Delbert Simpson (Fresh/Tyler John Tyler) had 11.
 
The Apaches return to action in January, with a nonconference game against Shorter College on the 4th.
