Richland College came into Tyler on Friday with a one game lead and the tiebreaker advantage in the chase for the Metro Conference Championship.   They left with three losses, as the Apaches swept the series 3 games to none.

TJC took game one on Friday 11-0, with Michael Wilson throwing a two hit gem.  The squad then swept Saturday's double header 8-3 and 10-3.  The wins gave the Apaches, who are sure to enter the post season as the nations top-ranked team, the Metro Conference Championship.
